|
| CorfreeŽ M1 is a diacid mixture, primarily C11 and C12, which provides excellent ferrous corrosion inhibition properties.
It is used in a variety of corrosion inhibitor applications, including metalworking fluids, engine coolants, cleaners, aqueous hydraulic fluids, and die cast release agents. CorfreeŽ M1 functions by laying down a strong anionic passivation layer on the metal surface. CorfreeŽ M1 amine salts provide superior corrosion protection to all other diacid inhibitors due to an optimum in diacid performance seen at the C11-C12 chain length.

|
CorfreeŽ M2 is a high purity 12 carbon diacid which provides optimum corrosion protection due to its chain length. It is used in applications where a pure component inhibitor is preferred versus a diacid mixture. Potassium and sodium salts of CorfreeŽ M2 are especially well-suited corrosion inhibitors for extended life engine coolant applications.
